Adriatic Sea is an extremely auspicious to big game fishing, it is a branch of the Mediterranean Sea, which separates the Italian peninsula from Balkan Peninsula, also the Apennine mountains from the Dinaric mountains. Its area is 138,595 km2, length 738 km, the average width 159.3 km, the average depth 173 m.
The Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea is considered to be the cleanest sea in Europe. The name of the Adriatic Sea (Lat. mare hadriaticum) originates from ancient times. Mediterranean climate is with hot, dry summers and mild rainy winters. The average temperature in the winter is 5-10 º C and summer 26-30 º C, sea temperature between 4 º C in February and 25 º C in August.
